Thank you so, so much for the time and effort you’ve put into your podcast. I remember first thinking when you started on Njal’s saga, “there’s no way they’re going to be able to so concisely go through this long ass saga and give it any justice.” Of course, I didn’t anticipate that you would spend close to a YEAR, and god knows how many hours, on a single saga! It is quite an achievement. I read my old copy along with you guys and it was a great ride. Maybe I’m alone here, but I definitely preferred this thorough, in-depth analysis of one saga compared to your other episodes. Perhaps you can do the same for something like, say, Egil’s saga? While I’m making suggestions here, I’d also love a saga brief on Norse religion. I very fondly remember reading the Prose and Poetic Eddas back in college. There’s a lot to talk about. Not just about the gods, stories, and practices, but also how it affected their lives, laws, and interactions with other religions. You touched up on this a little bit in your brief about the conversion to Christianity, but I’d love to hear more.
Anyway, great work and please keep doing your thing!

Thank you for your efforts on Njal’s Saga. It is one of those literary works that once read sticks with you. You cannot shake it off even after years. More so in my case with a son with the middle name of Njal and another with the middle name Gunnar. They probably should have swapped their middle names to match their natures and maybe there was the faint hope that they would be firm friends. Luckily, real life cannot match fiction as we keep our feuds within the family. Thanks again
